You messed up writing the 5th step.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this pattern. I completed my first one using Black/Blue/Red threads. I really loved the way it turned out. For the edging I did just a simple single crochet stitch all the way around. I'm going to start my next one soon in the Rainbow Pride Colors. I have a photo on Pinterest, not too bad but a little blurry.

I cant figure out how to make pattern, how to get started, do you have a tutorial. it would help me
ReplyDeleteIs there a you tube video on how to make this? I'm not good a reading patterns :(
ReplyDeleteHelp! Mine keeps curling up at the sides. How do I rectify this? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love this pattern! I made it in white, black and gray. My niece in Philadelphia loves it!! Thank you for a wonderful pattern! I will definitely make it again!!!
ReplyDeleteim really confused, why does the pattern not match the picture? im looking at a star with fpdc in it, but the pattern is telling me to make shells so my blanket is very pretty but it looks nothing like your picture, i really want the one in the picture, do you have a pattern for that one please x
ReplyDeleteThe pattern and the picture do match up. The fpdc doesn't run through the shells. Just down the valley. The hills or high points are the shells. If you work through all of the rounds of the pattern you'll see what I'm talking about. :-)
DeleteI love this pattern and it has become one of my favorites to make. It's a simple pattern and yet very beautiful. I've made 3 so far and almost completed a 4th.
ReplyDeleteMy first one was done in Blue, Black, and Red. I did the first five rounds in blue, then one round of red, then alternated, five rounds black, one red, five blue, one red, five black, etc. I love the way the red stood out yet because I only did one round of read each time it wasn't too over powering.
My second one was done in the Pride colors beginning with Purple in the center and ending with Red. My third was done in Red, White,& Blue which I chose to call American Pride. I began with Blue in the center and ending in Red. The fourth one that I'm currently working on is being done in 3 shades of pink. I'll have to get a photo of it too and add to Pinterest. I'm adding my link to my crochet page which has a photo of each of the three I mentioned above.
So thank you so much for sharing this pattern, I have really enjoyed making this.
